The hacktivist group known as the Department of Peace has allegedly leaked a database containing sensitive information about DHS officials, including names, contact details, and job assignments. This breach was made public through Distributed Denial of Secrets, which claims the data was sourced from an Okta single sign-on service used by the DHS.

Notably, the database is searchable and includes employees from various DHS divisions, such as Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection. The leak appears to be a direct response to comments made by DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin regarding increased immigration enforcement.

The Department of Homeland Security has acknowledged the breach and is reportedly working to address it, but the potential impact on agency operations and public perception could be significant, especially in light of past controversies surrounding immigration enforcement practices
