Analysts JPMorgan upgraded CoreWeave (CRWV) to Buy with price target raised to $125 on strong AI-driven demand

In September, the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average experienced declines of 0.5% and 4.3%, respectively, while the Nasdaq Composite rose by 1.9%. This mixed performance reflects investor anxiety due to increasing oil prices and Treasury yields, raising fears of potential interest rate hikes.

Amid this backdrop, analysts from major firms have identified three stocks with solid growth potential. CoreWeave (CRWV) has been upgraded by JPMorgan's Samik Chatterjee, who raised the price target from $120 to $125, citing strong AI-driven demand for cloud computing and improved pricing strategies.

Chatterjee noted that CoreWeave's willingness to sign premium-priced, shorter-term contracts is expected to enhance revenue and margins, despite concerns over high capital spending. He highlighted a 25% price increase in July and competitive pricing dynamics in the market.

Palo Alto Networks (PANW) received a buy rating from BTIG's Gray Powell, who increased the price target from $404 to $425 after discussions with management. Powell anticipates revenue growth exceeding 17% and significant growth in next-generation security annual recurring revenue by fiscal 2027, driven by a shift towards higher-growth product areas.

Lastly, Amazon (AMZN) was reaffirmed as a buy by Rosenblatt's Scott Devitt, who raised the price target from $335 to $360. Devitt dismissed concerns about AI shopping assistants threatening Amazon's advertising business, arguing that the company's adaptability and strong customer base will sustain its market position.

He expects Amazon Web Services to maintain a growth rate above 45% with improving margins. These analyst insights suggest that despite broader market volatility, these companies are well-positioned for future growth
