Jim Cramer Advocates for Nvidia (NVDA) to Implement a $500 Billion Stock Buyback Similar to Apple’s Strategy

On a recent episode of 'Mad Money,' Jim Cramer emphasized that Nvidia's stock is not receiving adequate recognition for its impressive growth, urging the company to enhance its stock buyback strategy. Nvidia has already initiated substantial buybacks, with an additional $80 billion authorized in May and nearly $40 billion repurchased in the first half of fiscal year 2027.

Despite these efforts, Cramer believes a more aggressive approach is necessary, proposing a massive buyback that could repurchase a significant portion of the company. He noted that Nvidia's stock has underperformed relative to the S&P 500, despite strong revenue growth projections.

Cramer also addressed concerns regarding Nvidia's financial support for AI infrastructure projects, arguing that the company's GPUs maintain value and can be reclaimed if needed. He drew parallels to Apple's successful buyback strategy, suggesting that Nvidia could similarly benefit from a robust repurchase program to enhance shareholder value
