Goldman Sachs has identified Deutsche Bank as entering a 'new era of profitability,' particularly in its corporate and private banking sectors, with a target price of 44.25 euros ($46.90) suggesting a 47% upside.
Analysts noted that Deutsche Bank's shares are currently trading at 8.2 times expected earnings, below the sector average of 9.6 times, and the bank could realize about 2 billion euros ($2.24 billion) in savings through operational efficiencies, including increased use of technology.
Meanwhile, Carlsberg has been assigned a price target of 1,200 Danish kroner ($180.10), reflecting a 24% upside, driven by an expanded soft drinks portfolio and strategic acquisitions.
Analyst Olivier Nicolaï anticipates that Carlsberg's profit margins will improve, supported by organic sales growth projections and a reduction in net debt, which could enable the company to resume shareholder buybacks. The removal of HSBC, Haleon, and CTP from the list suggests a reevaluation of their growth prospects in light of current market dynamics
