Macron announced that France would supply additional interceptor missiles to Ukraine, emphasizing the need for enhanced defense capabilities. Burnham's visit to Kyiv marks his first foreign trip as prime minister, during which the U.K. will allow defense company MBDA to share classified information to aid in the local assembly of SCALP long-range missiles.
The Kremlin responded by accusing the U.K. of participating in the war, suggesting that this escalation could hinder peace efforts. The meeting will also address strategies to reduce Russia's military resources and combat its shadow fleet, following a previous anti-ballistic missile coalition meeting in Paris.
