Analysts Wedbush expect Nvidia (NVDA) to exceed guidance in upcoming earnings report

Nvidia, the world's largest company by market capitalization at nearly $5.2 trillion, is set to release its fiscal second-quarter results, with analysts projecting earnings and revenue to double compared to the same period last year. This high expectation raises the stakes for the company, as any disappointment could lead to a negative market reaction.

Richard Reyle, chief investment officer at Questar Capital Partners, emphasized Nvidia's pivotal role in the AI sector, dubbing it the 'alpha bank' of AI financing. Additionally, Nvidia has reportedly informed customers of upcoming price increases of over 15% for certain server chips, which could impact demand dynamics.

Despite these concerns, Nvidia's stock has risen nearly 7% this month, outperforming the S&P 500's 2.5% gain. Wedbush analyst Matt Bryson remains optimistic, expecting Nvidia to exceed guidance due to strong hyperscale spending and a robust supply position, which he believes will continue to support the company's performance post-earnings
