TSMC Reports 68% Surge in June Revenue Driven by AI Chip Demand

TSMC's June revenue reached NT$ 442.68 billion, marking a 6.2% month-on-month increase and contributing to a total revenue of 2.4 trillion new Taiwan dollars ($74.99 billion) for the first half of 2026, a 35.6% rise from the same period in 2025. The company's growth is largely attributed to heightened demand for artificial intelligence chips and ongoing infrastructure investments.

TSMC, which holds a dominant 73% share of the global pure-foundry market as of the first quarter of 2026, serves major clients including Nvidia, Apple, and AMD. Additionally, TSMC is expanding its operations with plans to establish two advanced chip packaging plants in Chiayi Science Park, with the first facility already in mass production.

The company's shares saw a 1% increase on the day of the announcement, reflecting positive investor sentiment ahead of its second-quarter earnings report scheduled for July 16
