Analysts Morgan Stanley and Guggenheim maintain buy ratings on UnitedHealth (UNH) and Meta Platforms (META) with raised price targets

Global markets are experiencing pressure from fears surrounding the artificial intelligence sector and increasing oil prices. However, analysts from Wall Street are identifying opportunities for growth in certain stocks.

UnitedHealth reported better-than-expected third-quarter results for 2026 and raised its full-year earnings outlook, prompting Morgan Stanley analyst Erin Wright to maintain a buy rating with a price target of $529. Wright noted that the company's performance in its UnitedHealthcare and Optum Health divisions supports an upward revision of its earnings per share (EPS) estimates for 2026 and 2027.

Meta Platforms is also in focus as it prepares to announce its third-quarter results on October 21, with Guggenheim analyst Michael Morris raising his price target to $850 from $700, driven by the early success of its Muse AI agent. Morris highlighted that Muse has quickly gained traction, reaching 1.3 million daily active users shortly after launch.

Lastly, Marvell Technology's recent Investor Day revealed an increased total addressable market estimate of $400 billion by 2030, with Stifel analyst Tore Svanberg reiterating a buy rating and a price target of $370.

Svanberg emphasized the company's strong position in the semiconductor market, particularly in AI-driven demand, and noted commitments from suppliers to support Marvell's ambitious growth targets
