Stocks to Watch: Riot Platforms Surges on Strong Revenue, Hims & Hers Health Lowers EBITDA Outlook, Intel Upsizes Stock Offering

Intel's stock dipped slightly after the company increased its common stock offering to $20 billion from $15 billion, with proceeds earmarked for general corporate purposes.

Hims & Hers Health saw a 6% decline in shares following a reduction in its full-year EBITDA outlook and a net loss of 37 cents per share for Q2, contrasting sharply with a profit of 17 cents per share in the same quarter last year.

In contrast, Riot Platforms' shares surged nearly 20% after reporting second-quarter revenue of $174.2 million, exceeding analyst expectations of $154.3 million, and announcing a significant lease deal for a data center with a leading AI lab. Plug Power's shares rose 13% after reporting a smaller-than-expected loss for Q2.

First Solar's stock increased over 3% following an upgrade from Baird, which raised its price target to $318, citing strong utility-scale market prospects. Cardinal Health's shares moved nearly 2% higher after reporting adjusted earnings of $2.60 per share, surpassing the $2.42 expected, although its revenue of $63.67 billion fell short of the $65.15 billion consensus estimate.

The mixed results from Cardinal Health included a positive full-year EPS guidance, which may provide some reassurance to investors
