Stocks Surge After Hours: Super Micro Computer, CoreWeave, H&R Block, and Cava Group Report Strong Earnings and Guidance

Super Micro Computer's stock surged over 8% after it provided optimistic guidance for first quarter earnings and revenue, expecting adjusted earnings between $1.01 and $1.10 per share, significantly higher than the LSEG consensus estimate of 76 cents. The company also projected revenue between $14.5 billion and $15.5 billion, surpassing the anticipated $11.68 billion.

CoreWeave, an AI cloud company, saw its shares rise 14% after reporting a second quarter adjusted operating income margin of 5%, exceeding the consensus estimate of 2.7%. Its revenue of $2.58 billion marked a 112% increase year-over-year and was slightly above the expected $2.56 billion.

In contrast, Lumentum Holdings experienced a slight decline in shares despite posting fourth quarter earnings and revenue that beat expectations, although it has seen a remarkable 120% increase year-to-date.

H & R Block's shares jumped 15% following a positive forecast for the 2027 fiscal year, with expected adjusted earnings between $6.04 and $6.24 per share, compared to the consensus estimate of $5.86.

Lastly, Cava Group's stock rose nearly 7% after reporting second quarter earnings of 19 cents per share, slightly above the consensus estimate of 18 cents, with revenue of $368.4 million exceeding the anticipated $361 million
