Analysts Pivotal Research initiated coverage on SpaceX (SPCX) with a buy rating and a $220 target price, indicating a potential upside of 48%

Pivotal Research analyst Jeffrey Wlodarczak highlighted that SpaceX's future success largely depends on its ability to achieve Starship reusability, which would allow for 20-50 flights per rocket with minimal refurbishment. Currently, SpaceX has conducted 13 launches of the Starship, with only eight being successful, and none have reused a rocket.

If SpaceX can resolve this bottleneck, it could significantly reduce launch costs, enhance the capacity of its Starlink satellite internet service, and facilitate the deployment of orbital data centers.

Wlodarczak believes that achieving Starship's full potential could position SpaceX as a dominant player in the orbital business, potentially allowing it to charge fees or take equity stakes in new ventures seeking access to space. However, he cautioned that without a breakthrough in reusability, the company's stock could face challenges.

The overall sentiment among analysts is positive, with 29 out of 37 maintaining a buy or strong buy rating on SpaceX
