Shein's draft prospectus indicates a net income of $2.064 billion for the last year, with revenue growth of 8% in 2025, reaching $41.8 billion, up from $38.7 billion in 2024. However, the company experienced a significant drop in net income for 2025, falling 38.7% from $3.365 billion in 2024.

The approval from the China Securities Regulatory Commission for its Hong Kong listing on July 10 allows Shein to move forward with its IPO, which is expected to take place in late August or early September.

This listing is noteworthy as it comes at a time when many consumer brands have postponed their IPOs due to weak investor sentiment and reduced spending among lower- to middle-income consumers.
