Analysts Jefferies upgraded Five Below (FIVE) to Buy and raised target price to $350 (upside +47%)

Five Below has experienced a notable increase in its stock price, with shares rising 26% year to date, largely attributed to the popularity of viral squishy toys and a strategic shift towards higher-priced merchandise.

Jefferies analyst Randal Konik believes that the market has underestimated the retailer's recent performance, viewing it as a temporary trend rather than recognizing the ongoing structural enhancements within the company. Under CEO Winnie Park, Five Below has implemented a merchant-led transformation that is expected to create a sustainable growth engine.

Konik forecasts that as comparable sales normalize, the company will see margin expansion driven by improvements in merchandise margins, reduced shrinkage, sourcing efficiencies, and better fixed-cost leverage. This could lead to double-digit sales growth and a projected 27% compound annual growth rate in earnings per share through fiscal year 2029.

Following the upgrade, Five Below's shares rose more than 3%, reflecting positive market sentiment, which aligns with the broader consensus among analysts, where 18 out of 27 recommend a buy or strong buy rating
