Peloton Revamps Treadmill Lineup with New Features and AI Integration to Drive Growth

Peloton has introduced three new treadmills and upgraded its Peloton IQ AI platform, targeting a wider audience from budget-conscious consumers to serious athletes. CEO Peter Stern highlighted the importance of reconnecting with the joy of running and walking, as the company seeks to recover from a 43% drop in share price since his appointment in January 2025.

The new Tread Flex, priced at $2,195, is designed to appeal to consumers with limited space, while the higher-end Tread+ Vision remains at $6,695, with the Tread Vision increasing to $3,495. The AI enhancements, including a new Run Analysis feature, aim to provide personalized coaching, positioning Peloton as a comprehensive training system rather than just a fitness device.

Analysts, including Youssef Squali from Truist, express cautious optimism, expecting muted revenue growth due to ongoing subscriber challenges but foresee potential improvements as Peloton refines its offerings and manages its debt.

The upcoming holiday season will be a critical test for Peloton's renewed strategy, which also includes partnerships to expand content distribution and a push into commercial fitness markets
