OneRail Launches AI Platform OmniStar in Partnership with Nvidia to Enhance Retail Delivery Efficiency

OneRail has introduced OmniStar, a platform that leverages Nvidia's artificial intelligence software to streamline the decision-making process for retailers regarding delivery options.

This platform is designed to evaluate all available delivery methods and select the most efficient one for each order, significantly reducing the time required for routing decisions from 20 minutes to just 2.5 minutes. According to OneRail CEO Bill Catania, this capability is essential for maintaining profit margins in an increasingly competitive e-commerce landscape.

The platform utilizes OneRail's extensive proprietary data, which includes a network of over 12 million drivers and 1,000 logistics partners, to optimize delivery routes. Nvidia's vice president, Azita Martin, emphasized that the platform enhances retailers' ability to respond quickly to changing conditions while improving delivery economics.

OneRail has already seen success with customers, such as a tire distributor that saved $40 million over three years by using the platform. The company anticipates that OmniStar will generate over $6 billion in gross merchandise volume in the fourth quarter.

Additionally, OneRail's recent partnership with FedEx aims to provide same-day delivery services, further enhancing its offerings for smaller retailers. This development positions OneRail as a significant player in the logistics sector, akin to how AI technologies have transformed other industries
