Firmus announced the withdrawal of its mega initial public offering, which was intended to raise $5 billion by pricing shares at A$11 each, potentially making it the second-largest IPO in Australia's history with a valuation of approximately $30.6 billion.

The company's board concluded that the IPO terms did not reflect its business strength and growth prospects, stating that moving forward with the offering was not in the best interests of the company and its shareholders. Instead, Firmus will seek capital from private markets and explore other public and private funding options.

This decision follows a recent $2 billion funding round led by Nvidia and other major investors, which increased its total equity raised to over $3 billion in the past year and its valuation to more than $10.5 billion. Additionally, Firmus has secured agreements with Meta to provide GPU computing capacity for AI research, further emphasizing its strategic importance in the AI sector
