Analysts JPMorgan initiated coverage of Moog (MOG.A) with an overweight rating and a target price of $520, indicating 32% upside

Moog is positioning itself to attract more customers in the aircraft, spacecraft, and missile systems markets, which is expected to positively impact its stock performance. Analyst Tomohiko Sano highlighted that Moog's transformation is based on solid manufacturing decisions rather than mere marketing.

The company is involved in long-lifecycle platforms and has diversified exposure to missile replacement, commercial aviation, industrial automation, and AI infrastructure projects. Sano noted that missile production rates are anticipated to significantly increase in the coming years, which could further enhance Moog's revenue growth through fiscal year 2028 and beyond.

Additionally, Moog's involvement in the commercial aircraft sector, supported by substantial backlogs from Boeing and Airbus, positions it favorably for future gains. The ongoing U.S. investments in advanced fighter jets and transport aircraft are also expected to benefit Moog.

Currently, three out of four analysts covering the stock have a buy or strong buy rating, reflecting a positive consensus in the market. Moog's shares have already surged 61% year to date, indicating strong investor interest
