Jim Cramer Warns Massive IPOs Could Threaten Market Rally

On Monday, Jim Cramer highlighted concerns regarding the potential impact of significant IPOs and capital raises on the stock market. With Anthropic filing its IPO prospectus, the anticipated public offerings from AI companies like Anthropic and OpenAI could lead to a saturation of the market.

Cramer noted that $148 billion has already been raised through IPOs this year, and he fears that the introduction of new shares could outpace demand, undermining the ongoing market rally. He drew parallels to the dot-com era, where excessive capital raising led to a market collapse due to exhausted investor buying power.

While he acknowledges the strength of today's technology companies compared to those during the dot-com bust, he warns that the sheer volume of fundraising from major firms like Meta, Alphabet, SpaceX, and Oracle could divert funds away from the S&P 500 and other stocks, creating downward pressure on the market.

Cramer expressed concern that both debt and equity markets may be running low on available capital, which could hinder companies' growth ambitions before investors see returns. He clarified that he is not predicting a market peak but is wary of the current trends
