General Motors (GM) Set to Report Q2 Earnings with Expectations of Increased Adjusted EPS

General Motors is preparing to announce its second-quarter earnings, with Wall Street estimating adjusted earnings per share of $3.20 and revenue of $47.01 billion. This would represent a more than 26% increase in adjusted earnings per share compared to the same quarter last year, although revenue is projected to decline by 0.2%.

In the second quarter of 2025, GM reported revenue of $47.12 billion and net income of $1.9 billion. Analysts, including Barclays' Dan Levy, expect GM and Ford to exceed earnings expectations for the quarter, attributing this to a strong macroeconomic environment and stable vehicle pricing.

Investors will also be attentive to any updates regarding GM's 2026 guidance, particularly following a recent increase in adjusted earnings guidance due to a $500 million tariff rebate, raising expectations to between $13.5 billion and $15.5 billion.

Additionally, factors such as tariffs, vehicle pricing, and commodity costs, especially concerning DRAM chips, will be critical in assessing GM's performance and outlook
