Delta Air Lines (DAL) to Report Earnings as PepsiCo (PEP) Faces Downgraded Growth Outlook

Delta Air Lines is set to release its earnings report on Friday morning, with CEO Ed Bastian scheduled to appear on CNBC's 'Squawk Box.' The stock has seen a decline of nearly 6% over the past three months and is down 14% from its peak on July 2.

In contrast, PepsiCo's stock rose almost 4% following a report that beat earnings expectations, although the company has reduced its earnings growth outlook to between 2.5% and 3.5%. Jim Cramer highlighted that while Pepsi's sales remain strong, the price cuts contributed to the revenue increase. PepsiCo's stock is down 10.6% year-to-date but offers a dividend yield of 4.61%.

Meanwhile, the French 10-year yield is around 4.8%, and the iShares MSCI France ETF (EWQ), which tracks major French stocks, has dropped 2% this week and 9% over the past month. In the energy sector, Brent crude is trading at approximately $104 per barrel, and the S&P Energy sector has risen 3.8% this week, with companies like Marathon Petroleum and Valero leading gains.

Overall, these developments could significantly impact market movements in the next trading session
