Accenture reported earnings per share of $3.29 on revenue of $18.68 billion for its fiscal fourth quarter, exceeding LSEG consensus estimates of $3.18 and $18.03 billion, respectively. This strong performance has led to a stock surge that could be its largest single-day increase ever, according to FactSet data.
For the full fiscal year 2026, Accenture's adjusted earnings rose 8% year-on-year to $13.97 per share, while revenue increased by 6% to $74.2 billion. CEO Julie Sweet highlighted the company's broad-based growth and record cash returned to shareholders, alongside a notable increase in large client bookings valued at $100 million or more.
Additionally, the company announced a 5% increase in its quarterly dividend to $1.71 per share, payable on November 13. Looking ahead, Accenture anticipates 3%-6% growth in both revenue and adjusted earnings per share for fiscal year 2027.
Despite the positive earnings report, the stock remains down over 18% year-to-date, primarily due to investor concerns regarding potential disruptions from artificial intelligence in key business areas
