At the Computex conference, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced a new line of laptops, desktops, and workstations powered by the RTX Spark, a system-on-chip (SoC) that integrates CPU, GPU, and NPU functionalities. This marks Nvidia's first significant move into the consumer PC market, traditionally dominated by Intel and AMD.

The RTX Spark is designed for high-performance AI computing, allowing Nvidia to control the entire performance and power profile of its PCs. Shares of Nvidia rose over 4% following the announcement, while competitors Intel and AMD saw declines. The new PCs, expected to hit shelves in the fall, will be produced by major manufacturers like ASUS, Dell, and HP.

Nvidia's SoC design eliminates traditional bottlenecks associated with dedicated graphics cards, making it an attractive option for AI developers who can now run Windows applications locally, reducing reliance on cloud computing. This shift towards edge computing positions Nvidia favorably in a market projected to reach $274 billion by 2026.

Analysts suggest that Nvidia's valuation remains low compared to its competitors, given its unique software and hardware integration, reinforcing the case for long-term investment in the company
